Project Director, Serious Space
Adam Wildi’s 44 year career has encompassed a wide and diverse range of experience; starting in the music industry as a touring technician working for Brian Croft and Michael Tait , amongst others; four years at Theatre Projects and a seven year tenure at Unusual Rigging as General Manager and then Sales Director.
After Unusual, Adam became a freelance PM for a variety of clients including Imagination and Jack Morton. He became interested in Public Realm and Ceremonial work, he was the TD for the Hong Kong Handover Ceremony. He technical-directed numerous iconic events for The Royal Household (The Royal Military Tattoo 2000, The Queen Mother's 100th Birthday Celebrations, 'All The Queen's Horses' for Her Majesty The Queen, in honour of her Golden Jubilee in 2002). Adam was Senior Technical Director for the 2004 Athens Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Latterly, the work has been more architectural in nature; Adam was Project Director for Chanel Mobile Art, The London Olympics Infrastructure on Horse Guards Parade and The Mall, also for The Hive, the UK Pavilion for Expo Milano 2015, and its move the following year to Kew Gardens, London.
Adam is now working with David Rule and his Serious Group of companies in Hong Kong on the TH Series of theatrical buildings, he is pursuing his passion for demountable, sustainable Architecture, specifically Venue.
