Architect, Studio Andrew Todd

Andrew is an architect, writer and musician based in Paris and southern Burgundy. Director of his eponymous practice since 2004, his built work includes the Young Vic (as theatre consultant), the Old Vic CQS Space, the Silo Auditorium in Marseille and the Hardelot Elizabethan Theatre. The latter, winner of the WAN Wood in Architecture Award 2017, was described by Le Moniteur as ‘an architectural masterpiece..magnetic in the manner of the Guggenheim Bilbao.’ Chevalier des Arts et Lettres (2011), 40 European Architects Under 40 (2009), his firm is committed to radical approaches to low-carbon building, especially using wood.
