Carl Giegold

Carl Giegold

Partner, Threshold Acoustics

Carl’s thirty-five years in architecture and acoustics includes leading the acoustic design for scores of performance and educational buildings in the United States and United Kingdom, including the renovations of Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican Theatre and Concert Hall, and LSO St. Luke’s in London. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech in 1982, specialized in acoustics in 1995, and co-founded Threshold Acoustics in 2006. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. He has lectured for AIA National, the Acoustical Society of American, the Institute of Acoustics, and the Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture.
