Clive Birch

Clive Birch

Co-founder, Buro Four Project Services

Clive’s career in Project Management and Construction has spanned an impressive 40+ years in the UK and Europe.. He is also a director of the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology and  an Honorary Fellow of the RIBA.

After graduating Clive joined John Laing Construction (now Laing O’Rourke). Throughout his  time there, he was fortunate to work on an exceptionally diverse range of projects. It was Clive’s taste for the more obscure and challenging projects which lead him to identify a gap in the market for a specialist project management consultancy. He later went on to realise this by founding Buro Four in 1985 with three other like-minded individuals.

In his last role, Clive acted as Project Lead and Construction Consultant, working alongside Howarth Tompkins, on the refurbishment, remodelling and extension of the National Theatre.
