Jeannette Nelson

Jeannette Nelson

Head of Voice, National Theatre

Jeannette has worked extensively as a voice and dialect coach in theatre, film and TV. At the National Theatre form 1992 to 2001, at Shakespeare’s Globe for the 1997, 1999 and 2001 seasons and at the RSC from 2001 to 2005. In 2006 she went to Sydney Theatre Company before returning to the National as Head of Voice. Other work includes West End and major regional theatres as well as film and television drama. Recent work: Henry VI and Richard III in the Hollow Crown series for the BBC, Young Marx and Julius Caesar at the Bridge Theatre.
