Jo works at the intersection of design, research and business. Focussing on digital innovation, she creates and delivers successful strategies and projects to create rich audience experiences across a range of sectors - including the creative and cultural industries and education.
A key area of Jo’s work at Calvium concerns digital placemaking: the augmentation of physical places with location-specific digital services or experiences to create more attractive destinations for all - with the aim of creating pleasurable, sustainable and citizen-centred future cities.
Jo’s research interests and PhD explore the relations between people, place and technologies.
