Robin Glosemeyer Petrone

Principal, Threshold Acoustics

Art and science converged for Robin during a performance of Verdi’s Requiem while studying abroad inspiring her to add an acoustics emphasis to her degree in Architectural Engineering. She is active in the Acoustical Society of America, serving on the Books and Newman Fund Committees. Robin is co-author of Classroom Acoustics I and co-organizer of the 2003 and 2014 Concert Hall Research Group Summer Institutes. She has been an invited lecturer on the topics of music and architecture for the LA Philharmonic’s Music for Elementary Educators series and architecture and sound at SCI-Arc as part of the “Stereolabs” Seminar.
